The workshop organised by the Limerick Museum & Archives as part of Heritage Week was a great success and although only 12 participants were trying out the basic Limerick lace stitches, a lot more people took part.
We were honoured to receive the visit of a former Good Shepherd convent lace maker, who, by pure chance, was visiting the Limerick Museum on the day.
